Friday 10 July 2026 Prize Winners - Summer Term 2026 Earlier today we celebrated our Year 6 Leaver's Assembly and End of Term Prize Giving. We said goodbye to our Year 6's, we wish them all the best in their future education.

Monday 29 June 2026 Waverley Sports Day 2026 Today, we have enjoyed yet another fantastic Waverley Sports Day! Although we had to postpone the event last week due to the hot weather, today couldn't have been more perfect, with ideal conditions for a fun-filled day of sporting action.

Tuesday 16 June 2026 Ancient Egypt Comes To Live At Waverley Yesterday, Years 3 and 4 stepped back in time to enjoy a fantastic Ancient Egyptian Day thanks to a visit from Portals to the Past. Many of the children arrived dressed for the occasion, with Pharaohs, explorers and mummies all making an appearance on the day.

Monday 8 June 2026 KS2 Go The Distance To Raise £781 For The Cowshed Wokingham Earlier today, all of our Key Stage 2 children took part in an exciting 5K race around the school playing field in support of The Cowshed Wokingham. The race involved completing nine full laps of the school field, with Mr Shore, Mr Kear and even our school dogs, Luna and Bella, joining in with the fun!

Thursday 4 June 2026 Team Waverley Shine at the ISA Athletics On Wednesday, a group of Waverley pupils proudly represented the school at the ISA London West Regional Athletics Meeting, held at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Eton. With over 40 schools in attendance, our athletes competed in a range of events including high jump, long jump, shot put, vortex and various track races.

Monday 18 May 2026 WFA Colour Run – A Fantastic Morning of Fun and Colour! What a fantastic WFA Colour Run we enjoyed yesterday! The school was filled with plenty of excitement as pupils, families and staff came together for a fun-filled morning packed with colour, laughter and smiles from start to finish. Participants had a wonderful time making their way around the course while being showered with vibrant bursts of colour, creating memories that will last for years to come.
Friday 15 May 2026 Whole School Wicker-Weaving Project Over the past three days, you may have spotted a rather special structure taking shape on the lawn at the front of school. Every child across the school had the chance to take part in some fantastic wicker-weaving workshops, helping to create the beautiful new woodland shelter.

Tuesday 28 April 2026 Ancient Greece Comes to Life at Waverley Yesterday, Waverley was transformed into Ancient Greece for a very special themed day for our Year 5 and Year 6 children courtesy of Russ from Portals to the Past. The day began with an introduction to Greek life and culture, helping the children get a feel for what life was like in Ancient Greece. They then took part in a Greek quiz, searching boards placed around the room to find interesting facts and complete their quiz sheets.

Friday 27 March 2026 House Cross Country Competition 2026 This morning, we held our annual House Cross Country Competition. It was a beautiful morning with the sun shining and everyone was in great spirits. The children set off in stages, with the younger years running the course that looped around the school field and woodland walk, whilst Year 5 and 6 took on an extra lap of the field.

Friday 27 March 2026 Scholarship Successes Of Our Current Yr 6 Pupils Congratulations to Rebecca, Ellen, Mikey, William, Sienna, Toby and Aurelia, who have all received scholarship offers from a range of senior schools including Luckley, The Abbey, Farnborough Hill and Crosfields School.
Friday 27 March 2026 Prize Winners - Spring Term 2026 Earlier today, we held our End of Term Prize Giving Assembly. Pupils from Reception to Year 6 were presented with a variety of awards, cups and certificates. Congratulations to our 2025 Spring term prize winners!
